Social Media Cleansing

In Matthew 4:1-4, Jesus was led into the wilderness to be tempted. After 40 days and 40 nights, he was hungry.

WE are hungry – as women, as mothers, as partners and peers.

We’re craving authenticity and connection in a world that has largely fallen silent.

•• A world where strangers pass each other on the streets without making eye contact
•• Where phone calls freak people out
•• Where elevators are uncomfortable and quiet
•• Where you might know every detail about someone’s life and never actually have met them in person

We’re growing numb.

We feel anxious, depressed, and exhausted – and sometimes we don’t even know why.

We compare who we are and what we believe in to what we see online, and so often our self-worth is left hanging on the approval and acceptance of others.

Our relationships lack depth.

Whether it’s an intimate bond, a friendship or family connection, it’s becoming increasingly difficult to decipher between what’s real and authentic and what’s simply surface-level connection.

Depth is becoming difficult at best.

•• If you find yourself scrolling numbingly through social media without really even engaging anymore…
•• Suffering from serious FOMO (fear of missing out ) when you’re not online
•• If you cringe when you think about the amount of time your kids or partner, friends and family see you on your phone every day
•• Feel the pull to check social media while operating heavy machinery
•• If you feel like you’re losing control and you’re READY to make a change…

I’m here to support and guide you every step of the way.

Together we’ll explore the emotional pulls that are keeping you tied to technology, identify the relationships that you cherish online (and how you can nurture + grow them offline and in-person, too), confront the FOMO that you’re experiencing, learn how to combat that, and much, much more.
